How to make an Image Background Transparent
I used PSPX and Animation Shop ( any PSP version will do)
Open your image in PSP
[center]
Promote the background to a layer...
*****If your Background is all one colour see the footnote*****
Select the lasso tool
Change the lasso tool settings to these...
Use the tool to select a small amount of the background you want to delete
and then click your delete button
Continue around your picture deleting the background in small amounts until its all gone
Copy the image
NOW GO TO ANIMATION SHOP
Paste the Image as a new animation
Now we need to save it
Give it a name and save as a gif
Click on next and when you get this screen click customise...

Use these settings....
Just keep clicking next and then finish and its done!
****NOTE**** If you are wanting to remove a background that is all one colour then instead of using the lasso tool you can use the magic wand... its much quicker!  |
